In order to create a place between public and private we extruded the walls of the abandoned big box theater façade. Recessed porches inspire interaction across the property line, providing mutual benefit to the city and the tenant.
Main street activity, lush garden accents, and fresh air offer interest and relief for the office employees while activity within the niches bring life to the typically impervious and unchanging street wall.
